Super Smash Bros Con this weekend! If your a fan it started yesterday Chantilly, VA 9-12th. I’m not able to go this year but I plan to go next year and more in the near future. Video game cons are a very good way to practice your skills and make extra money. Everybody is different and have skills that we may not have and may have tips we dont have. I can say I’m good at Super Smash Bros. I love the original that came out for the Wii. I love playing it with my family and friends and loved the storyline. Have fun for those who are able to attend and take pictures hold on to those good memories!
I love video games and I’m pretty sure that most of everyone does too. As we know a lot of work goes into these video game creations and they take a lot of time. As I have experienced and I’m pretty sure most of you all have too that most games have glitches in them and if caught and reported are often fixed. Now in terms of creating these games it requires a lot of coding which I’ve talked about in a previous post. But now in days most big companies use game engines such as Unreal Engine 4, Unity, OpenGL, HTML5, etc. Most big companies like Marvel, DC Comics, and Naughty Dogs use the Unreal Engine 4. When you compare the graphics from Unreal Engine 4 to Unity you can see a difference between the too. I’ve been taking a course on how to use the Unreal Engine 4 and noticed they do more of the coding through blueprints that too me are more simply than the coding while using Unity. Check out the pictures below….
As you see above the two games were made from different game engines. Batman Arkham Knight has better graphics than Watch Dogs 2. A lot of companies use the Unreal Engine 4 because the graphics are better. Now with the way its going they’re soon to have 4k graphics with some game consoles already offering it. Unreal Engine is more easy and simply to use than Unity and the graphic look a lot better. Below is a layout of how the Blueprints work on Unreal Engine.
I will be creating an artist tips page soon talking the Unreal Engine 4 in full detail and talking about the requirements and why its FREE to use. Below are the last set of pictures showing some more of the Unreal 4.
Videos coming soon on the Unreal Engine 4! Stay tuned!
