I will be updating my YouTube channel soon and will be posting newer videos with better sound quality. Sorry for the volume being too low and will be making the videos with better quality.
We are now in the world where everyone and every company is trying new things and trying to save money at the same time. I love doing art digitally its just that it’s very time consuming. I prefer to just draw out my artwork, ink it, and then color it with the drawing tablet in Photoshop CS6. To me its a lot faster for me because I’m just so much faster at drawing on paper than I am on a pad. Not to mention doing it completely in the Photoshop program you have to keep clicking back and fourth between brushes. Now doing digital art does have a lot of pros to doing it digital and the main benefit to it is you have unlimited freedom to mistakes.
What I mean by that is that when you make a mistake its easier to correct it because you have multiple layers in Photoshop. Which even when I’m just using it too color my art work I always use multiple layers to help keep it separated so when I go back to fix a mistake its more simple to find and fix it. You also have a lot of tools that you have direct access to when you draw digitally, like the paint brushes and if their is something you don’t like you can change it right away its never permanent. You also have the options to save your art in a lot of different formats if you choose or need to. Like jpeg, psd, etc they offer an very good selection to choose from. Also, they say its good for the environment and it saves on tries and labor as well. But its a preference my preference is drawing it out than coloring it.
But I would recommend to all artist to learn it all, because the more you know the better. There are a lot of opportunities in life for digital artist. Someone may hire yo because you know how to do it all and its cheaper to hire one person and pay them a little more than it is too hire a pencil-er, inkier, and then colorist. So learn as much as you can my friends digital art is very time consuming especially if your new to it but a lot of good stuff comes from the being a digital artist. Above is my very first drawing I did of a very beautiful female back in 2011. And up to this day I still love it I was completely new to it and my Uncle recommended trying to do digital art just to get practice which was a good thing to do. So give digital art a try we are living in the digital world now so its good to stay up to date. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy! Remember to check out my updated galleries pages to find more of my artwork!
Art has always been my passion and it has always been my hobby. And over the years I’ve gotten better and better with the help of being in art class and doing some research and watching videos on YouTube. I was very young when my mom taught us the basics of how to draw and drawing Runs in my family.
But my career started when with the help of my Uncle who is a successful Entrepreneur and business man help my create my first wordpress blog. I was so thankful because I had no idea on how to create a website and the only way I was learning was from a business class I took in school called NFTE which had us using computer skills like Microsoft PowerPoint. Which was teaching me how to make and design a webpage/Website from sctrach.
Then I learned the basics of using Adobe Photoshop. I started with with Photoshop Elements then I upgraded to the bigger software Photoshop CS6 which the software is beautiful. But I learned to use it in terms of editing photos, doing digital art work, and coloring my own comics that I inked and drew first. So below I have a small gallery showing the work I’ve done. I am working to color all my art and to keep displaying them and I’m about to keep posting some of them hear and on some of my other social media sites. I will also be updating my about me page and will be deleting my contact page and merging it with my about me page. Thank you for reading and for being a subscriber!
When I use to think of a business logo I didn’t think they had that much meaning to them. But they actually can be very helpful and can be a good way to get your business noticed. But when you do have a logo you want that logo to go with the type of business you have. Like if you have a restaurant business you wanna try to go for a food type logo or one that would represent it. Below I have an example of my logo and a logo I did that I will be putting up for sell soon. But it’s for a restaurant and you can see when you look at that logo it looks like it’s for a restaurant busienss. The logo can be any design you want but I try to recommend something that goes along with the busienss your running. They’re are a lot of websites like visaprint, zazzle, lulu, etc. That offer logos and many others that will help you design your own logo with there web tools. This ofcourse is always optional I designed my logo from scratch using Adobe photoshop and I plan to design more to help give other ideas on logos you can do. I hope this post helps and if you have any ideas, thoughts, or comments feel free to let me know!

Welcome, this video was designed to show you a very fast way to ink you comic art/drawings in Adobe Illustrator CS6. I hope this video helps and it will be posted on Brownscomicart. Thank You and please subscribe.
In this time and age a lot artist are now doing all their work digitally. Even the most popular comic book companies like Marvel, DC Comics, Top Cow, Image Comics, etc. Now there are some benefits to doing all digital because in the long run it can actually save you a lot of money. In terms of comics it saves money on stuff like paper, pencils, ink pens, supplies, etc. which in turn is more profit for the company/artist. I like doing digital artwork depending on the the type of artwork it is. Below is an example of a piece of digital art I did a few years ago and I always loved this drawing it took about 5 hours to do. Which is another thing depending on how good you are with using software programs like Adobe Photoshop CS5, 6, and other coloring programs you may be able to do a drawing in an hour or less. Usually drawing all digital takes more time but its easier to go back and fix a mistake you may have made. Soon I will create an artist tip page to talk more on the subject of digital art and the pros & cons of it. I hope you enjoy the piece below and would appreciate any comments on it.
Greetings to all, I’ve been very busy and haven’t had the time to post in a while, but now I’m currently working on inking my drawings and coloring them using Adobe Photoshop CS6. I ink my drawings using ink pens and I add additional lines to add more detail to the art. Below you’ll see the progress of what I’ve been working on using Adobe Photoshop CS6 and how good your drawing’s can be when you have these good tools. Take note to even if you have Photoshop Elements 9 you can still get some of the same results because they have some of the same tools as CS6 just not all of them. The benefit of coloring you artwork in Photoshop is that you have room for error. You can always go back and fix a mistake that you made and also most Comic book company’s Marvel, DC Comics, Image, Top Cow, etc. all use Photoshop to add words and to add coloring to the comic. I will be having a tutorial using imaging with Photoshop on how to use Photoshop to color you artwork. Stay tuned!
