This is the Anniversary of my website Brownscomicart and I just finished renewing my subscription with WordPress still keeping my Business Account. Which for those that don’t know it is about $299 a year to have a business subscription with WordPress but the good thing with it is you have 24/7 access to support as well as an very unlimited access to premium themes and access to plugins and can upload your own plugin that you may have created or purchased by another developer. So every year as an artist and a Business Man I’m always trying to find ways to do more with my business and to make more in profit instead of just ditching out money to run the business. Currently I’ve probably only made less than $100 in profit just from running the business and that not a bad start, I know and I learn from a lot of bloggers on here that you are always gonna lose money when you start something new and will be spending a lot of money just to get it up and running. So having a good business plan and knowing what your goals will be for the next year is a good way to start. Here are my goals for the 2019 Fiscal Year….
Commissions! I will be doing Commissions starting the New Year and I’ve already set up my Commission Page just setting up the Contract Details.
Keeping all my Social Media Outlets up-to-date. I will use more Social Media outlets to help with my free advertising.
Spending less on operating expenses, tools, and supplies.
Making revenue on Google ad-sense ads by keeping my blog updated to increase traffic. Trying to make profit with ads on my blog to pay for the expenses of the blog.
Getting Clients and letting subscribers post their art on my blog with their own art gallery.
Offering Clients the option to be a premium member where they may be able to create their own profile page and describe who they are and post in the artist tips page giving themselves credit for the post as advertisement for them and there business/Art.
Attending more Comic Cons and Business events to interact with the community and other fellow artist to get ideas and share my art and business ideas.
Updating my YouTube Channel and creating brief effective tutorials that will help artist and Entrepreneurs on a daily basis.
Thank You for taking the time to read and for being a subscriber to BrownsComicArt! If you feel as if their’s something that I should work on or an idea you have that can help me in the near future than feel free to let me know! All comments and feedback are appreciated! Thank You!
Just a quick update for all my subscribers I have been in the process of making Brownscomicart more organized and easier to access. So if you check some of my pages like the Art Galleries pages I have a nice slideshow that shows all my art and it gives you the option to select the pictures you want to open instead of having to view or scroll down to see the type of art your looking for. I am currently using the plugin called next gen which I’m to organize my art and make professional art galleries with it. So check it out I mentioned NextGen gallery in a post before and the benefits for using the plugin and I will soon be posting it in my artist tips page. Thank you for Reading and also follow me on all my updated social media tags to the right. I have more coming on the way.
Greetings to all my followers and artist. I hope all has been well and that everybody is doing good. I know its been a long time since I’ve posted and been active and I’m sorry and have had a lot of stuff going on the last few months which didn’t allow me to any work done. But I’m back now and am happy to be back as you see below, my divorce is final and am drawing now on my motivation from what happened in my life. The drawing below shows a couple that both have had a bad relationship in the past and now they came together to be be one in a relationship. There is always so much meaning to our art when we draw and the point I was trying to get across here was to let the past go and stay on drive to the future. Love will come your way and that what has inspired me to make this drawing. I’m still finishing up and will be inking and coloring it soon in Photoshop CS5.
Here’s just another short clip if some art supplies purchased from the art store. It’s a short video and a few pictures showing the supplies separated. Coming soon I will have more short videos on my artist tip page showing how to use these tools while creating a piece of artwork. More clips coming on Twitter and Instagram please follow!
Hey everyone, sorry it’s been a while since I’ve posted I’ve been dealing with a family situation, but I’m happy to say that I will be updating my blog every week going forward now. Stay tuned for new post talking about the comic field and discussion’s on the new upcoming super-hero movies coming out. Below is a drawing of sexy Model Minnie Mars @minniemars you can find her photos on Instagram and as well as the web. I will be posting another portrait of one of the upcoming star models Moriah Mills. The next post will have more information about the drawing and her. This current drawing of Minnie Mars took about 12 hours to complete. The most difficult part about this drawing was the tattoos. But like they say practice makes perfect. Hope you like it and remember to follow me on Instagram and twitter for faster updates.
